Quad Wheelchair Tennis Glove for Paralympic Athletes.

The Problem

How can we develop a glove for Paralympic Quad wheelchair tennis Athletes that provides imporved grip, ease of use, and appropriate ventialation during match play?

The Quad class is for athletes with playing arm restrictions, which limit their ability to handle the racquest and maneuver the wheelchair simultaneously.

• Athletic Tape becomes ineefective with sweat, some players wrap with the sticky side up.

• Tape can be painful when placed directly on skin

• Athletes re-tape hands throughout the amtch and the process can take up to 6 minutes each time.

• If the grip loosens, a dead racquet feel can hurt hands and affect play.

• Thumb and side of palm is what makes contact with push rim.
